As a senior in high school, I use a laptop for taking notes in class. Before finding scanR, I used to take photos of diagrams and other drawings from the whiteboard, but the quality was poor and printing them wasted a lot of ink because the background of the whiteboard got printed along with the drawings. With scanR, however, within seconds of sending off my whiteboard photos, I have clear, crisp drawings and diagrams to insert directly into my work. I now also photograph handouts as well when I don't have access to a scanner so that all my notes are in the one place, and the result is still easily readable - perfect for my needs. Thanks to scanR, using a laptop for academic work has become a lot easier - thank you for this great, and especially free service!
