scanR is the best thing since PDFs! I get monthly subscriptions to numerous magazines and once in a while there are articles that I wanted to read again but keeping the entire magazine for that one article was just not practical. What I ended up doing was cutting out the articles which would span pages and pages. It was such a headache to organize hard copies of all the articles that I wanted in an easy and coherent way, that was until I read about scanR in a forum one day. It was unbelievable how user easy and quick it was to use. I started with taking a picture of a short article I had and before I knew it I had a soft copy of the article sitting in my email. Needless to say, I was instantly a fan and told everyone I knew about the site. Now my desk is clutter free (by clutter free I only mean free of the articles I would keep, their is still plenty of other clutter). I can't wait to find out what other users have to say and some of the other ingenious ways of using scanR.
